BD24 Times (“we”) operates the website bd24times.com and the “BD24 Times” Android app (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Service, why, and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

The app does not require an account. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, photos, contacts or location through the app.

To show news, the app downloads articles, images and categories from our website. Like any web server, our server may log your IP address, device/browser type and the time of the request. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting.

If you comment on the website or contact us, we store the name, email and message you provide, only to display your comment or reply to you.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, including the Advertising ID, IP address and approximate location, device model and operating system, app usage, and ad views and clicks. Google uses this information under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your phone’s Settings > Google > Ads.

3. Other third-party services

  • Google Fonts: the app downloads fonts from Google’s servers on first use, so Google may see your IP address.
  • Sharing and links: when you share an article or open it in a browser, it is passed to the app or website you choose, whose own policy then applies.

4. Data stored on your device

The app temporarily caches article images on your phone so it loads faster. This stays on your device and can be removed with Settings > Apps > BD24 Times > Storage > Clear cache.

5. Cookies (website)

Our website may use cookies to operate the site, remember comment details, and for ads and statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. Sale of data

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we hold a child’s information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

If we hold information about you (such as a comment or an email), you can ask to see, correct or delete it by contacting us.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
